what is this part pls??

hey i broke a bolt on this part the other day and i dnt what the part its and what it does. It has 4 hoses goin into it and they carry oil. Pls can on of you knowledgable rotary gods help me

Its the metering oil pump/oil metering pump (MOP/OMP) its for the oil injection system.

ok just a quick question those four hoses that go into the pump thing can they go in any hole or they have to go in certain ones

Any hole should be fine but they usually only fit properly one way.

ok thanks so they all go the same place. i didnt no if 2 where in lines and 2 where out or something like that. so whats the oil injection for just to add oil to the engine or fuel ????

It provides lubrication for the apex seals. Oil is actually injected into the housings and lower intake manifold.

Well, that's not really the best way to learn since you will get conflicting and sometimes incorrect answers to your questions. Better to get a copy of the factory service manual from one of the links in the FAQ. It's free and authoratitive.

Yeah its best to do research. The search button at the top of the page is your friend as well as the Factory Service Manual (FSM) which is in the FAQ.
