What other cars share injector type/size?

I'm looking on eBay nad the like for injectors and I'm finding a lot for DSM's and 3000GT's and Supra's and Miatas and everything but all I see for the RX-7 are Venom. Can I look for injectors labeled for something else?

I don't know if this helps, but a nissan buddy of mine bought my old t2 injectors off of me to put into his rb20 or whatever, he said they drop right in.

What injector size are you looking for, there are different sizes for different series, years, apllication, etc.. all just with the RX7 model. Do the stock RB20 injectors flow as much as your engine needs, some ohms, same feed?

They might have swapped the Mazda injectors in because they flow more that stock RB20, so you'll be running lean if you managed to run the RB20, if they worked. I don't know anything about those, just hypothetical.

I'd stick to injectors man sold for your car and I haven't seen much evidence that those Venom injectors are bad, I've been using them for a few years with no problems. You can always find other sources for your injectors other than e-bay as well.

We're not talking about stock injectors. I need 720's. They make 720's for the RB series motors. I'm just trying to find more options for easily acquired injectors.

RB20 injectors are top feedand will work on the rx7 but the clip might differ, RB25 injectors are side feed and wont work, which is why most Nissan owners upgrade to a Greddy rail with top feed injectors once they go past 800CC usually since they are easier to find.
DSM Injectors from the first gen are 450cc and are top feed but the clip might be different.
So just buy the proper injectors for your car, the RB20 ones will work but might not be a straight drop.
Good luck

Nothing to do with stock injectors (didn't think I'd have to say that twice).

Yeah that makes more sense, but the way it was worded sounded like you were looking for other OEM type injectors that would fit the 7.

Like I said, I have been using the venom 720cc injectors for two years with no problems, logging the AFRs and duty cycles they seem to be fine.

That's good to know. It just seems like I read some "poor" reviews of Venom's injectors some time back, but I may have the name confused.

Venom 1600s are the ones that there have been problems with, but I dont think you'll need such overkill, only looking for 300hp. I'm pretty sure that Greddy makes a 720cc injector for our cars too.
But in reference to the RB20 guy, yea he was using T2 injectors cuz they were an upgrade from his stockers

ok sorry about my previous post. Yes you do hear some horror stories with venom injectors, but those came from a specific ebay seller that was scamming people and selling other injectors as venoms.
If you do buy venoms buy them from the factory, not ebay.
