What oil are you using?
I believe that synthetic oils are harder to break down. And because rotary engines use oil from the crankcase to lubricate the internal rotor housings it leaves more deposits in the engine.
They say to only use synthetics if you have disabled your OMP and switched over to pre-mix
I personally use Castrol GTX 20w-50

We just had this topic, nearly verbatum, not even a week ago and was popular for several days.
Brand of Oil that you use
And it's covered in the FAQ's Lubricant section.
All applications: Synthetics > Non-synthetics

This has been covered many, many times before. There was just another oil topic only a few days ago that went for several pages. A simple search for "synthetic oil" or even just "oil recommendations" will turn up days of reading.
