What oil should i use?

What oil should i use?

ive got an 88' fc 13b, and right now in my garage ive got 10w30 and 10w40 any suggestions?

In order to choose the correct oil for the temperature in your region, see the chart in Chapter 2, page 3, of the Factory Service Manual:

Also, note that many years ago 10w40 wasn't very stable, and therefore many people will tell you not to use it based on this old information. As long as it is produced by a quality brand name (Castrol, Mobil, Valvoline, etc.), 10w40 is just fine nowadays.
