straight 30W is what i would suggest for cooler weather and 20W50 for summer driving.
don't bother with synthetics, though people will flame me just on principle i believe they are a waste of money, the added "protection" they offer is offset by the cost. i only run sythetics in the rear axle and in premix while at racing events.

Straight 30 weight? Gee, might as well recommend going back to pre-fuel injection too!
