If I was in your position I would work on the suspension. Wait for the engine to blow and have it rebuilt and streetported. KYB adjustables and racing beat springs work great for me.

How hard would it for me to Rebuild an engine and port it myself? What tools would I need for the porting and how mych would a rebuild kit be? I have a spare core of unknown condition but I was told it has a blown seal although the circumstances under which the car was unusable does not indicate that it was blown. Say if the internals were ok what would it cost for a re-build kit, some learning material, and some porting. I would like to do this myself so I can learn.

What would I benefit from this? what would be a good brand to buy? How much wold it run me? If I do this would it be better to buy a new clutch also? I kinda want a street/strip kind of clutch because I plan to start going to the strip later on and also some autox in the far future.

Clutch
Flywheel
Koni or KYB adgjustable suspension with your choice of springs
RB Sway Bar
Bushing Kit
Rims/tires if ya want nicer ones
Could get some new interior things (shift ****, e-brake handle, pedals, steering wheel)

I dunno, do whatever you feel should be done.

Well my clutch is still good so there is no reason to change it right now.
I want some suspension mods but I would like to get some coil overs at some point but I am leaning towards some good springs with a drop and some shox. I would like to do the modding myself though i don't know if I could do suspension mods on my own. I already have the BBS rims but I do need some tires
forget the interior this is a non-luxury car on the inside plus I do have new seats and steering wheel.(form the GXL)

How much would a shop charge me to put in the suspension stuff or could i do it myself? I don't have many tools just enough to get by.

Yeah but going with a shop can be quite expensive. I was charged like 350 CDN to install spring on my other car. I was like As long as you have the right tools you can do it your self. I saw on two guys garage when they did springs on a mustang instead of using a spring compressor, they used the car jack and placed it under the lower arms and just lowerd it slowly. Kinda scary to me not using a spring comp.

As far as cars.. i feel im in the same kinda situation as you, if we arent talking about suspension, (i know your planning on doing that later on.....) but i would definatly say, flywheel, that on my list to do..... im also just thinking the little stuff ya know.... like i want to get an alarm and tint my windows. and im still looking for an s5 gauge pod so i can get an a/f gauge and a oil temp. Also, I have a momo steering wheel that i want to get re rapped (it was 5 bucks at a junk yard...) just some ideas that im thinking of for my car

You still have some bolt-ons to go, but as anyone will tell you bolt-ons will only give you so much without messing with the internals. Some bolt-ons you have left: underdrive pulleys, e-fan, plugs/wires, clutch, flywheel, fuel management, wheels/tires, strut tower bars, ect.

If I were you the next thing I would do is port my intake manifold to go with your other air mods.

I used to be totally against this but am coming around now and actually really wanna do this eventually. But how about a 50 wet shot of NOS. Instant 50hp is nothing to sneer at and it is not terribly hard on engine if used properly, and the wet shots are quite safe. It is a do it yourself install from what I have seen, sounds amazingly easy, like maybe 3 hours work or so. I dunno, just an idea.

You can "borrow" spring compressors from a lot of the chain stores. They charge you like 80 bucks to rent it and then refund the money when you bring it back. Or you might find a local car club/ or member that has one they'll let you use.

Rat's nest removal, pruning the wiring harness, (engine and chasis harness) replace the anti-sway bar endlinks, new rubber, tar removal, porting of the S4 intake manifold... Lots of stuff you can still do.

Well I know there are a lot more bolt-ons.

I am still planning:

PR sleeves
E-fan(looking for fieros at the yards)
I have an S-AFC but I need one that works and I am buying one from a guy on the forum soon.
I only need tires
it has good plugs in it but I want some good wires to go with them
I want some strut tower bars but I don't know if i shoud get the rear one since I am planing to put a cage in and it might be in the way
I also want some forzas(sp?) and some 6 points
I am still reading up on how to port my manifolds( good thing I have an extra set.)

Take your time porting your manifolds. You basically just want to make sure the ports that go between each part (plenum to UIM,UIM to LIM) are exactly the same, as to not creat turbulance. You can also smooth out some bumps and imperfections that you see along the way. Just take your time and be careful..
