Is putting a 89+ Turbo and Manifold on an 88 simply bolt-on? I thought the wastegate on the 89s was electronically controlled????

Is it just bolt-on? What would I need to do?

Just make sure that you have both the turbo and the manifold. Then it should be a fairly straightforward installation. I gave my friend my 89-91 turbo, and it bolted right up, or so he says.
