What Are My Chances...

....of finding a black on black S5 TII? Is it impossible to get one? I am willing to go ANYWHERE in the US or even Canada to get it (fly there, drive home). I am finishing up on my finances and hope to have it all squared away by December, and I want a realistic idea. I "could" force to go w/ Blaze Red or White, but double black is what I dream of at night. Is it just a pipe dream?

I found my black/black 89 less than 15mins from my house. 77k miles on it. But i had been kinda looking for anything but red for about 6mos and hadn't seen anything at all. Just gotta get lucky.

I looked for a S5 TII from 4/01-6/01 and I found only three for sale in the entire United States. I wanted the black interior in leather and the car had to be immaculate...not hard, right?

1. Blaze Red in Alaska-scratch that, too far away.
2. Black in Georgia-needed paint and it was sold before I made it down there.
3. Blaze Red in Columbus Ohio-1 hour and fifteen minutes away...hmm! I put a deposit down after test driving it and bought it a week later.

Ha!

Like I said, I am just tryin to finish up my finances, so I won't have the $$$ for a few months (October-December). Let's just say, I am applying for a loan that is worth $9k, and is VERY easy to get for my FAFSA info. Student loan, of course. So, between $5k-$6k is my budget. Mark, all those from Autotrader? I spend like 30 min a day on there and eBay, and I can't find squat!! Yes, it HAS to be S5, unles it is is major deal on an S4. No, it dosen't have to be black, but it is most definatly my first choice. And, I want it as stock as possible...I know, I'm picky

How are you getting an extra $9K from student loans? I am getting $2K, but I have rent and stuff to pay with it.

hahahahahahahaha. i love it, student loans rock! don't know how it is down south but up here it is based on how much money u make, how much school you take and how much your expenses are. stretch your output and shrink your input for their sake. not that i recommend anything nor have i ever involved myself in any such activity, or anything against the gov.t for that matter! but ..........

I made like $3k last year, and my mom only makes $36k a year w/ 2 dependents, plus she works at the school I attend. Yes, I am a louck ****. I am shooting for $6k, but that $9k loan would be cool to get, but not to have to pay back

My parent's don't make much money, but since I am over 21, that doesn't affect my aid. I made over $17K last year, which makes it pretty tough to get enough to live on, even though I'm only going to make 1/2 that at most this year. I tried to change my aid, but my old boss wouldn't write me a letter saying I don't work there anymore, so I am pretty much f'ed.

If that dosen't work, legally my grandparents are my parents (adopted me when I was a baby) and they are both dead. So if I wanted to be a REAL *******, I could claim them, and get all the finacail aid I wanted, plus, since he was in the air ofrce, there are TONS of free grants. But I would feel really bad if I got a car that way....

Um...no.

I want a TII that is nice and stock. All I want to do performance wise is a BOV for sound effect, and mabye a muffler. Suspension mods out the ***, but little in the way of power. ****, it will be faster than my n/a anyway, and my n/a was fast enough for me. I want something that won't die on me in the next 3 years. At least to get me out of school, then I am planning on buying my dream daily driver.....Jetta 1.8T
