rear differential thunking
I read someone elses post about probs with the diff. Mine thunks also and from underneath the car, you can easily push up the front of the differential. My question is: Whats on top of the differential? A bushing? I've looked in a couple different places but cant find a picture or anything pertaining to mounting the differential. Any one with pics please let mw know

Its a rubber/metal front mount for the differential. Jpg attached. Free download at http://www.fc3s.org. Just download the section you have interest in. Be sure you download or have Acrobat 5.0 before trying the download. Its free also. For the cost try looking at mazdatrix.com for prices.
According to everybody but me, its a easy change out. Piece of cake. A day in the park etc.
Also there is a SEARCH engine in the upper right hand corner of this page. Type in differential or rear differential and you'll get something. You'll have to sift out the irrelevant items, but there are several within the last six months. Frankly the search isn't that good. The way people write down their subject has a lot to be desired. Instead of *differential help, please*, they'll write * HELP* or *What the f....*. Makes the search engine 80 percent useless. Bunch of ......... oh, never mind.
