What mods for my TII

I just got my turbo II and want to start adding some mods. I was told to upgrade the fuel system first and then go with the exhaust. So can anyone recommend a good downpipe? Also, is anyone using the fuel pump that rx7.com sales? What injectors should I go with and what size for the secondaries? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Actually you usually upgrade exhaust and fuel system together. A/F and Boost gauges are a must if your going to start modding and should be purchased first.

Frech plugs and wires are good. Ful exhaust, homemade intake, and a walbro for safety should get you down do a sub 14 sec 1/4 mile. Just be sure to have your eye on the boost gauge at all times.

what ive got is the makings of a 13 sec. car. a good downpipe is the one that RP sells, along with their midpipe. you will make the bigest gains in power by getting rid of the cats. i also run a catback too, as well as the homemade TID mod. the TID is the best bang for buck mod. noticeable power gain for 16 bucks(depending on where you get your supplies). the mods on my car REQUIRE an upgraded fuel system. i was good with an FCD(which is a must! all the mods i have raised boost from 6lbs to 13lbs), and walbro fuel pump, both from RP. but i added 720cc injectors recently, and have an AFC to tune with. 680cc injectors would work but the 720's were available to me first. a good set of guages is neccesary. once you start modding a T2, you NEED to keep an eye on the motor, and the stock stuf just doesnt cut it. i have Autometer boost and EGT gauges in my T2, they are good inxpensive gauges, but there is better out there. i prefer an EGT over an A/F gauge though. its my experience that the A/F gauge isnt enough to fine tun the car with. these are the basic mods for a T2, kinda like BPU for supras. its enough to make the car pretty quick. with these mods i can reguraly take down C4 corvettes(not C5's...yet), lightly modded camaros and mustangs and pretty much everything that isnt built to hell and back. it will mke the car extremely competitive on the street. plus, its really fun!

oh yeahi almost fogot. you only realy need to upgrade the secondary injectors. my primaries are stock and i dont plan on upgradeing them unless i get crzy with mods. the reasoning is, you only really need the extra fuel when the car is in boost, so you only realy need to upgrade the injectors that work when the car is in boost. as evidence, my friends old T2 had turbonetics T04 60-1 turbo, full exhaust, intake, and haltech. he ran 550cc(stock) primaries and 1600cc secondaries. his car got more than enough fuel.

yup...correct possibly using fittings and elbows from Home Depot to create a more direct piping from the filter to the turbo

thats exatly what the TID mod is. turbo inlet duct. 3" pvc pipe necks down to the same size as the inlet of te turbo. i think its 2 inch. anyway, there is a slight bend in it but otherwise its a straight shot from the MAF to the turbo. it gets rid of all the crap in front of the turbo that comes on the car stock. first mod i did to the car and i immediatley felt the difference in power. only thing is, if you still have stock BOV, you have to tap it back into the TID. you cant run a 2nd gen BOV open vent.

i have autometer but if your gonna be doing alot of mods i would get a higher quality gauge there was a thread not to long ago where a guy switched from an autometer boost gauge to an Apex one and found out that the autometer gauge was from 1-3 PSI off.
