That is not a Garrett GT40.

I'm not sure what it is, but the specs are all wrong and that's not the correct compressor housing for the GT40 (or the GT35 as the page states).

I already have a fuelrail and russel threaded fittings so I think the jegs kit might work fine. I will link the kit and the turbo i found below

You can probably use most of those parts, so it's a good buy. Looks like you will save some money over buying it seperately. Keep in mind that you will need to pick up more fittings (metric to AN adapters for one) as well.

It looks nothing like a GT40. Here's the CheapTurbo "GT40":

Specs:

Compressor:
.70 a/r
61mm inducer

flow: 65 lbs/min 832cfm

Turbine:
T4
your choice of T4 turbine housing
available with 0 or P trim wheel
add $100 for Q-trim wheel

Here's a real GT4088R, courtasy of Garrett:

Specs:
Compressor:
63.5mm Inducer
88.0mm exducer
Trim: 52
A/R: 0.72

Turbine:
Wheel: 77.0mm
Trim: 78
A/R 0.85 - 1.19

They are two totally different turbos.

Even comparing the CheapTurbo "GT40" to the plain bearing Garrett GT4088/94, nothing matches up.

maybe it is a cheap knockoff wannabe GT40? anyways I have heard very little complaints about their turbos and might consider trying it anyway

ah, cheapturbo notes that it has same comp section as a 35r, possibly this, 61.4mm inducer from a gt35 family
