what is the minimum diameter for dual exhaust?

i was looking into the cheap rx7.com exhaust, and i noticed it was a 50mm piece and many other companies advertise hks, and racing beats exhaust as a 50mm. but it veries allot. i dont know why, but thats not the point. how small is restrictive on a dual exhaust?

CIRCLEarea= [pi] * r^2

Take the inside area of a both duals and sum them into one number. If that number comes out less than the inside area of the mid-pipe, I would say they are restrictive.

That's really basic. There are a lot of other design considerations that could make them "restrictive" or inappropriate, but you get the idea.

edit: I'm retarded, fixed function.

yah i kinda figured that.
so would the Type of exhaust
be worth it? it seems like the proce is kinda low and it looks like it already looks like a slightly modified stock one. would be good for a sleeper.
