what kind of royal purpal...

hey im changing my gear lube soon in my trans and i have enough cash to get some royal puple and that sounds like the best synthetic by what the forums are saying but nobody says what kind to use? most just say royal purpal or royal purple max but theres a bunch of different royal purple maxes so im wonderin what i should use?

I'm using royal purple max gear 75w-90 in the trans and rear end, and it's working great for me.

aight thank its pretty cold right now in pa ad winter is starting so ill prob go wit somtin close to the 20w-50 probalynot quite that thin though hmm thanks for the advice

Oh no you will not be putting 20W-50 in the rear diff! That's to light. You need as a minimum 75W90 in the rear.

Check your manual please...

aight well the only thing they had was 75-90 and somtin 140 so i got the 75-90 lol

yeah, that 90w-140 is friggin heavyweight oil. Also takes forever to get it in the car because it's so thick.
