what kind of oil to use for a Half bridge T2 motor?

what kind of oil to use for a Half bridge T2 motor?

Just wondering what kind of oil to use?

It wouldn't matter what oil you use as long as you follow mazda's recommended weights. Castrol GTX is a good one to go with. Run 20w-50 whenever weather allows it...

I really love Castrol GTX.. I've used it in EVERY vehicle I've owned.

ok what do u mean by weather?

ok lets rephrase that, When its hot, what do you use?
and when its cold, what do you use?

I made a mistake, I was thinking 32C (confused my units). Use 10w30 when its 0F, 32C or near it or below it. Otherwise 20w-50.

I wonder if the people who "love" an oil and have "always used" an oil have any basis of comparison for saying their choice is better then another?

Just a thought.

Oh, and I run 20-50 (my car is really only driven in the summer) of whatever brand is on sale when I need oil. Generally I use Fram filters because Canadian Tire seems to only carry a filter for the RX-7 from Fram.
