Its the Greddy V-spec kit. I have the same one and its real nicely put together. The kit runs about $1100.

Its the GReddy V-Spec. Its a tight fit with all the bumper reinforcements. Heres a page of the installation:

cool man, thanks for the link. im looking to upgrade to frontmount pretty soon, and i like they way yours fill up the entire main frontend opening, and how you can see the endtanks and piping through the other openings. if it really is only 1100 bucks i might just get it

That is a nice IC, but how is it with the stock turbo? I'm guessing pretty pathetic in the lag department...

not bad at all. If you were in the area, id let you drive it and see for yourself. It spools up very fast.

Do you still have the stock compressor? I was gonna throw the small NPR in the front of mine, but I fear it will be laggy since the IC is pretty big. But if it doesn't lag with that huge *** GReddy IC, I think I'll be alright.

Yes I was going to get the VSPL but didn't think it would work good with my stock turbo. If it's not bad I'm going to get it and use it till I get a full t04.

well think about it. te stock intercoler doesnt flow that well. especialy if you have more boost than stock. that stock intercooler was designed to only flow stock boost. an aftermarket core is designed to flow substantialy more boost from bigger turbos. it would flow boost from a stock turbo better than the stock intercooler could. if there is any lag it would come from the fact that there is more piping for the boost to travel through, not the core itself.

The internal volume of the new core would be so much greater that building up the pressure inside it could be a cause for lag as well.

I have a t04 hybid. Stock turbo, with a t04 compressor. The stock turbo spools up quicker, so i dont think it would be any more laggy.
