What can you get away with in cali? I plan on cone filter, TID, downpipe, blocked off egr but keep acv and bac and airpump and cat.

what about intercoolers and shiney wheels? and stuff

depends where you are I guess. My car doesnt pass smog and too much work to convert to back so it does. having a hook up is nice. getting pulled over and your hood popped is a different thing though. take a look at my mods and you'll see I'd be screwed if i was pulled over lol

I made 377 @ 16psi. Much more very soon.
No way in hell my car would pass...that is if it needed to.

I don't ever have to smog my car again (unless I sell it) since I registered it at a friends house in South Lake Tahoe, California. Certain counties, like El Dorado or Mendocino (I think) that are considered rural with no smog issues are exempt from testing except at change of ownership.

165-175 RWHP (depending on the dyno) S4 based non turbo w/ mild street port, no EGR, Highflow cat... passing CA emissions with plenty of room to spare.

Only thing I do for emssions testing is throw on hollowed out precats, a stock airbox and bypass the CDI, and tell the emissions tester that the ACV is the EGR valve.
