MN What happened to parts availability?!?

Looked Everywhere for a front S5 counter weight in-order to put s5 rotors in an s4 and can't find them anywhere. Lots of parts are becoming unavailable or unbelievably expensive. The cost of new housings today is sad to see. Any idea on finding this part or tips on what you all do to get hard to find parts?

Your best bet is to contact parts suppliers in Japan or start looking around parts breakers/salvage yards. In some cases, you might have to go the 3D printing or CNC route.

All of you bear this in mind: the FC3S RX7 ended production in 1992 and these cars are now over 30 years old (Mazda planned a 20-year lifespan for the FC). More uncommon OEM parts are going to be tougher to find new and Mazda has yet to reproduce parts like with the first-gen Miata.

On the other hand, parts such as filters, brakes, suspension, cooling and electrical components can still be had.

there is also stuff that is not on that list. or there are a bunch of parts that they moved into the new parts factories they have in Thailand and Malaysia.
