Parts ID..flasher CPU.

I am sure the damn thing is for an S5.
it says FC12 on it.
I looked in the parts fiche but they have "N" numbers and not the Id that is stamped on the unit itself.
Can anyone else confirm this is correct?
Thanks Guys.

S4 have either FB01 or 05 and S5 coupes are FC01 or

+1 for Pics

What I've learned through hunting in the parts catalogs is that every prefix has a certain meaning. Using the S4 as an example, let's start with its bodywork

FB01 is used on every North American FC regardless of options for such parts that all share, such as the fenders, dashboard, etc

FB02 is for parts related to the rear wiper
FB03 points to sunroof-related parts
FB04 is A/C parts
etc.

Japan has a similar organization scheme beginning with F044 for base S4 parts through F070 for Infini IV-specific bodywork parts.

I'm sure the S5 has such a logical numbering system as well. Try looking at some of the other parts that also use the FC12 prefix and it'll give you a clue about what it's related to. It sounds familiar and I know I've seen it in several other places before, but I can't place it at the moment. Gut feeling says it's a bodywork part specific to the S5T2...

It is an S5 unit. Someone was looking to replace one from his S5 in Canada.
