What is GT-R equivalent to?

Hi there,

Was looking at the stickys and faqs and searched, but wasn't able to get a definitive answer on what model the 1990 FC GT-R is? Is that Japan's equivalent to the north american GTU?

Thanks to the collective expertise.

If you read the info correctly, you would also know that ALL J-spec FC3S models were TURBO'd.

So how the hell can your GTU base model be equivalent?

I believe the GT-R was japan's base. No lsd, no four pots, abs option, and a few things in the interior optional. I don't 100%, I'm not a JDM bunny...

GTR = T2 vert except hardtop... it doesnt really 'convert', the GTR is turbo WITHOUT LSD

GTX = turbo WITH LSD and without sunroof and other luxury items

GT limited = Luxury model with or without LSD

There were a few other models and traits.. but this is the bulk of it.

The GT-R is the base turbo hardtop... I figure it didn't come with a sunroof or four-pot brakes, etc. (I could look it up but don't feel like it at the moment).

The vert is the "Cabriolet" version, and then of course there's the special sport version, the Infini series, which had a lot of goodies.
