What is ground and whats positive on the water temp sensor?

Sorry if i stole your pic, i was searching for my answer and couldnt find it it but found this pic in WATERTEMP SENSOR thread.

I am installing my HALTECH and i am using the stock water temp sensor location for best readings and ran into a problem, i got this clip from a friend and dont know if the t2 or n/a have the same color wires.

the one i have is a 2 wire sensor ( brown and black wires) which one is positive and wich is negative...brown has red dots and black has red dots too
