since I put the RB aluminum flywheel in my NA last year (w/ a centerforce dual friction clutch) I'll get a little tire spin (not chirp, spin) on a fast redline shift to second w/ my 235/45/17 rears. shift like that when the car is being turned and you can induce a nice slide if only I had an LSD...

and all the newb's wonder why there **** blows up.. they cannot drive worth a lick!!
Dave
Please do not make the mistake of assuming that I am a newb who does not know how to drive. I drive for a living and I am perfecty aware that the engine, clutch, tranny, driveshaft, differential, and tires will not like my driving style.

Yah, econo boxes with good clutches can spin, chirp the tires too. Also spinning and chirping the tires could be from the car has poor grip and not awesome power.

How many people can spin the tires withOUT dumping the clutch?

my cavy will.. 4 speed slushbox

spin 'em a bit if you're goin around a corner or facing uphill

proteges will smoke 'em in the first gear of the auto too...

my chevette will chirp into 4th (out of 4) so it's clearly not a function of power....

Talking screw chriping

Screw chirping......What about completly roasted tires.

1st, 2nd, I completetly spin the tires up to 7k. Third will completly sping and break my back in loose for a second. This is in dry weather. Toyo Proxes T1s 235's.

In the rain, shifting into fourth I can spin the tires ....thats @ 90++++
