what are the function of these

on the inside of the glove box door there are two shallow circular indentations.
WHAT ARE THEY???
they're too shallow to be cup holders.

one of my friends suggestions:
"back when they made this car it was supposed to be the pimpest thing, so they made boob holders to hold the big ***** of the girls you can pick up with it."

but really tho, what are they?

Hockey puck holders, for you canadian folk. For the rest of us, they're one of those things people put there just to screw with your head.

Do what I did, take the inside panel off, cut the inside of the so-called cup holder out, make a lining (i made mine out of sheet metal, painted black) and put it back in. Now you can actually use the stupid thing!

Otherwise it's just a good place to put loose screws, bolts, nuts, etc. while working on the interior of your car.
