what emissions to keep, and get rid of

ok so, im trying to sell my car, my 87 T2, and decided i dont want the car to be too hard to drive etc, for all the newbs that will be looking at my car in the town i live in.

im doing work on the engine right now, was going to do a full emissions delete and TB mod, but decided i want to keep the TB stock with the thermowax and cold start stuff intact, but get rid of everything else.

so far, i know i need to keep the BAC to make the TB stuff work correctly, but im not sure what else i NEED to keep (to keep the TB working) id like to know what i can ditch and what i need to keep to accomplish this, im pretty sure i can get rid of the split air valve, EGR, and air pump, keep the BAC and everything hanging off the TB.

could someone make a list of what i need to remove, and what i need to keep?

actually, i did lots of searching, and i didnt find much and ive been to the rotary ressurection website. i know it looks like im a newb because i only have 40 some odd posts, but i know my way around the cars pretty well. i wasnt wondering WHAT to pull off.....because if i was doing full emissions removal, i would take everything off. i want to know what is essential to keep the TB in working order, if i do half the emissions but not the TB mod. want to know what is more essential than what, etc.

the RR site us just inscructions on how to remove everything......i can figure that out myself. i think all i need to keep is the BAC, and maybe the EGR?

I did everything on my S5 except the BAC and throttle body mod. So I would say that pretty much everything else can go if all your worried about is the throttle body.

you just answered your own question.

i dont understand why you want to pull emissions off a car you're going to sell, it just sounds like extra work, and its not like its going to increase the value of the car. it probably lowers it. i need to be able to smog it, for example.
