What else can I remove? (Look at pictures)

What other emissions things can I remove while I have the engine out? I removed the charcoal canister, and a bunch other things off the right hand side, what can I remove from the left side, and anyone got any info on how to remove the AC if its not depressurized? And how do you remove the power steering, I've searched and searched and can only find people who have done it but never said how!

to depressurize the A/C, just undo one of the little black caps on the piping (there are several, one before and after the condenser, on the piping along the firewall, etc.). You will need to depressurize both sides of the A/C lines(before and after compressor). After that, just remove the radiator type thing for the A/C, all the piping and the compressor and you are done.

oh yeah, the Freon in the A/C system won't hurt you. If you start feeling a little dizzy, just move away from the car and get some fresh air. No ill effects from it.

Thanks a ton, I wasn't sure if there was more to it or not, I figured out how to do the power steering, and Hopefully I will have that finished by tomorrow.

Not much there. Just colis and brake stuff. You could run a smaller battery. Once you pull the a/c and p/s, that will really clean it up though!

Hmmm, ok, anything else I can pull out regarding emissions, or is that going to come on my engine when I get around to it?

Most of the removeable stuff is gone. Just wait for the engine. BAC, aiirpump, ACV, hell if you are ok w/ using premix oil, pull the OMP! Let me know how the a/c decompression goes! I want to do it Sunday!!! My g/f cannot beleive I am doing that, as I live in hella-hot Texas!

110 is not unheard of w/ 89-93% humidity. Heat index can reach over 120 in places like Dallas and Houston. Beautiful women, great football, f'ing hot in the summer! But hell, if I wanted comfort, I would've bought a Lexus, not a sports car!

I'm engaged, so women don't concern me much, and anything over 80 bothers me, I can't sleep in anything over 90. We keep going back and forth between our posts!

The Freon just evaporates dude. It may condense if you spray it right ON something but it will evaporate eventually. Remember, next time you get a sunburn it's your own damn fault! j/k

Luckily mine was already depressurized. But I prepared for it by customizing a PEN to stick in a bottle just sticking out of the hole in the center. I then pushed it in was perfect although I didnt have a drop of water or pressure. Dont forget to get rid of the EGR valve.
Dont forget the Battery relocation kit with a performance bat. Ahhh ya.

?.. When taking the charcoal canister off did u just plug the two hoses. And is that ok.

Well, the one line I removed from the canister didn't run anywhere, so I just removed it completely, the other runs to the gas tank and I plugged that one. I believe that is the way to do it (or so I hope)

The 'wierd ****' that was referred to is the compressor oil that is contained in the A/C system. It is harmless but if you get it on your bodywork it may be a bit of a bitch to clean off.

I would not remove the charcoal canister. If you do, where does the gasoline vapour go? With the can removed, it gets vented whenever you crack the gas tank cap, or whenever you're hit from behind. God I hope it doesn't spark.
