why are you installing an s4 into an s5? normally people go the other way around. you are loosing hp and putting into a heavier chassis.

well...the car is in great shape other than the engine...
i got it cheap (traded my Honda 200 3 wheeler for it)
and the PO had pulled the motor bcause it had overheated.
the plugs had a rusty nastiness on them so i kinda believe
the S5 is shot.
he had bought a "replacement" motor from some Rx guy he knew...
hence the S4 conversion....
my 95 camaro was stolen a couple weeks ago, so im trying
to get back on the road with a weak budget.....

Just use the s5 n/a harness and run s5 intake manifold and electronic's. Switch front covers so you can run an electric omp. You might as well change everything outside the car and hook up the harness while it's out. It will make life much easier, also get an egr block off plate since it's a s4 n/a keg.

I know injectors are different, but if you have the s5 keg you are already good to go.

with S5 wiring ....would there be a problem with this?

you are gonna run into problems with the OMP system.
the S4 is mechanical OMP and since you are puttin the S4 into an S5 car, then you need to have the s5 OMP hooked up.That will require you using the Front cover off the S5 engine on the S4 KEG(small block,no manifolds etc on it),so you can install the omp.
Put your s5 manifolds on,and it should be good to go.
I am missing alot ,but that is the Essence if what you need to do.

sucks about your camaro, i also highly recommend cleaning your engine bay before installing your engine. im not sure if it matters to u but trust me it is soo much easier and comfortable.

You could leave the omp plugged in the chassis harness and you'll be fine. But i'm sure you gotta run the duel tps. but one controls the omp. the s5 has a wideband tps which is better imo.

I think the turbo front cover is different due to the oil supply to the turbo. He may need a S5 front cover to do this.
