Not sure what corrolation BAC has to the air pump, so maybe we should go over some terms:

BAC = Bypass Control Vavle. Located on driver's side, on the side of the dynamic chamber (surge tank). Nothing at all will happen, except for the ~3,000RPM startup, which will drop drastically. Makes it rather hard to start when cold out.

ACV = Air Control Valve. Passenger side, on lower intake manifold. When blocked-off, the air pump will be rendered inoperable, thus negating its useage and should be removed. If, for some reason, you put the ACV on top of a block-off plate, you'll have an air pump that's never used, as well as an ACV that just sits there and clicks.

Hope I helped answer your question

Sorry for not being more specific. I know all that crap. But im sure you helped alot of other people. ANyways Yeah I was just wondering what ill effects blocking back off with air pump as apposed to not having one.

See they work in conjunction with the airpump together and they can either be all on or all off. But I wouldnt think On (air pump) Off (BAC) catch my drift?

ANyways thnx. Im keeping it on because I calleed mazdatrix and some lady said you have to keep it on if your using the airpump. But I would rather not.

Thnx
