what is the easiest way to drain the gas?
Is there an easy way out to drain my gas instead of dropping the tank? Siphoning it? Is there some sort of drain plug i'm missing out on? Any help is much appreciated! thankyou,

remove the carpet at the Back,,the floor of the hatch area...there is a Top to the tank that comes off with Six screws. This is to Easily access the Fuel pump.My tank has a Drain plug on the Bottom(sec Gen)..I don't know how easily that will come off though.Depends on How good of condition the tank is.
my car is at a friends house til i rid of my other car so it's not easy access. But i talked to a guy and he said that there is probably "gel" type gas in the gas lines since it hasn't ran. what can i do to clean them?

Once you have drained the old gas and tightened the drain plug, put some fresh gas in the tank, then disconnect the wiring harness plugs at both coils (or unplug the CAS). Replace the fuel filter, but do not tighten the lines all the way. Put your drain pan under the fuel filter and crank the engine a few times. This should flush most of the "goo" from the lines. The injectors and fuel rail don't get flushed this way, but they may not need it anyway.

or you could get a fuel line and connect it to the fuel punmp and supply your own 12v to the pump and pump into said container where this said fuel line said ends

Yea these cars have the drain plug on the bottom of the tank. For some reason I always end up with a car that has those and everyone says there are any. My 7 has one, my trep has one, and I think my cheapo first car had one. I think it makes life alot easier.

If the drain plug is rusted (normal) then the best way I have found is a siphon. From the local hardware store it was $3 and has a long tube that goes into the fuel filler neck. You then pump the rancid fuel into an approved container.
Since it sounds like you are pulling the car from storage, you will probably want to look at this:

I think 3 years is more like pulling it out of retirement :p
I like the crank siphones over the hand pumps, they're faster and have a constant flow.
Be careful when siphoning and don't cheap out. Never use your mouth (especially on 3 year old gasoline).
