Im building an FC3S and i was thinking about going rack and pinion steering so i can harness the power being used by the belt driven power steering pump

 

Aren't all our cars equipped with rack and pinion? It sure as heck ain't recirculating ball steering. If you want power steering, you need a power steering rack with all the plumbing, and the pump among other things.
