what does this wire do? (engine)

ok, I posted this like a few weeks ago, but everyone said my orginal picture was too crappy so they couldn't tell which wires they were. Also the engine was upside down at the time. Now this is my actual engine, not the one I ripped off before. It's installed, it's the orginal engine too. I just want to know where these wires go to, and what they do. Thanks!

Do you really expect a 100% positive ID on those wires, with a pic like that? One "LOOKS" like the oil pressure sender wire, but you need to show us the connectors, etc. Or we are all just guessing.

just stick the camera down there closer and take a pic. This pic looks like you were standing back by the front tire.

You need to clean the wires and tell us the colours, since that's the normal way of identifying wires.

Most likely they'll be for the oil pressure sender (under the oil filter, yellow/red wire), oil level sender (on the sump, red/white wire) and oil temp switch (also on the sump, black/red wire).

its not pinestraw, on the subject of cleaning... anyone know of good places to get your engine steam cleaned? I know that Honda around here has they're own machine for this, but they only let honda engines get cleaned.
