What does the Vacuum load at Idle on a Turbo RX7 indicate?

Question What does the Vacuum load at Idle on a Turbo RX7 indicate?

Just what i asked. I was reading where some guy was saying his car pulls 420hgmm at idle. What does that indicate? Someone else said those are pheniminal numbers.

from my understanding the vac numbers at idle can indicate tight or weak seals in the engine, kinda like doing a leakdown test on a piston engine. not 100% sure if thats what it actualy is but thats what ive been told.

that is just a metric number... which is 16.5 " on a standard PSI gauge.

stock port should be 15-20" street port 12-16"

that is at a 750 idle

Ported motors will also cause the boost gauge needle to fluctuate up and down at idle.

SO I guess my t2 has low vacumm since it reads 13 at 800 rpms... Oh well it runs great.

Yeah...13 is kinda low ( Or I guess its actually kinda high... )
