What does the purge valve do

What does the purge valve do

I am removing all my solenoids and stuff and have one morew questiond,, what do you do with the purg valve ahtat is mounted near the oil filler pipe... i believe it has a line that goes to the motor and the front of the upper intake.. can i just delete and cap the nipples

The purge valve passes fuel vapour(stored in the charcoal cannister)and blow by gas from the motor into the intake for combustion in the motor.
You can do what you want with this stuff,just make provision to vent your fuel tank and blow by gas from the motor.
