I had been using this spray Dura Lube and has worked great, but its all gone now, and they don't sell it anymore.

So what works best for you?

Aren't there some nylon parts that hold the rods in the mechanism that can be eaten by that type of stuff?

i've always used some powdered graphite or some silicone spray. From time to time, take it apart and clean up the inside as best you can.

Ive always heard powder graphite or silicon spray (that stuff fixes anything on civics ). Neither will harm plastics/any metal/tint. Also good for lubing up the sunroof track and window tracks.

Yes. Do not use WD-40. Lithium grease or graphite.
