well if you send in a core it drops it anouther 100 bux.. and needless to say i have a few cores like 3 or so, i was thinking of calling and seeing what kind of deal i might be able to work with them.. hey you never know. i wish bnr would give a deal like that.. i have an S5 turbo on my car than anouther one on its way and a good rebuildable S4 in my spare parts

well, no offense to Bryan@BNR but if the pic is of the actual turbo then it looks to be well worth the price, almost looks like a complete new turbo. Bryan requires your old, in most cases worn and cracked turbos, to upgrade so you get what you give. next, with this you are saving almost $200 for the same turbo and will still have your old core turbo.

the only downside is do you really know he will take care of the turbo if there is an issue with it? is that worth $200 to you? i paid $450 for a stage 2, never had a problem with it and have been very happy with it from a third part builder. Bryan does quality work but his prices are not exactly cheap, i have seen prices consistently lower than his for a while now.

the only thing i see that this builder should have done was port the turbo intake runners larger, it still has the smaller twin scroll primary intake runner..

the intake runner is the first thing i noticed right off the bat. makes you wonder how well he ported the waste gate. the only thing is i have a **** load of old turbos right now. bryan at bnr said the only ones he would take in are the ones with no in and out shaft play. well i have 3 with in and out play, 1 that made a funny noise when shifting, and the one in my car. its just hard to choke down that kind of money for a turbo.. 775+ your turbo.......

I think the ebay one looks decent, but I seriously doubt the power claims.

I would expect mid 300's tops from that snail.

well...HP and E/T although related, don't always necessairily go hand in hand.

But figure on having near 400 whp to trap low 12's in an average weight with average tire FC.

bryan said with his stage 3 he had a cutomer trap 118mph in the 1/4 that should be good for a low 12 on drag radials...
