alright, got another fc, 13b, AC taken off....put new plugs and wires on it...jumped it off, ONE spark plug wire was able to cut it on, put all 4 in, wouldnt idle at first, sometimes it would idle at 1500, sometimes it would stall, friend was able to take it for a trip down the road with one taillight and no license plate, says the clutch is totally gone....the exhaust has the manifold, then 3" pipes back to 5" tips...also put a piston engine compressoin checker on there and it shot to 100, then 150....so is the engine gone? possible fuel injection or exhaust problems?....suggestions wanted.

how did it feel when driving it? it sounds ok, but it's impossible to tell from your discription.


150 PSI of hot compression is good, though. You also need to take out the relief valve (or hold it open) and make sure you see even bounces. If it goes WOOSH pfft pfft then the engine may be gone. You can also just have an assistant crank the engine while listening/feeling for even bounces. Clutch gone is pretty easy to fix. Exhaust is probably not helping power, unless its' a ported monster engine. 5" tips sound pretty ricey

Well you changed the spark plugs.

Changed the oil
Check leads
Check vac lines
Check all your grounds
change oil/fuel filter
Check your EGR valve
Check your coils fuses
