You are looking for exhaust systems and they all hook up to stock cats except you don't have any cats, instead you just have some crazy *** weld job, ghetto straight pipe on your car? That's how mine came when i got it?

Get a flange from www.racingbeat.com and have it welded onto your ghetto straight pipe so the cat back will bolt up.

Um, you look for a High flow cat, and a Cat back exhaust. Assuming your straight pipe isnt welded to the header. If it is, then throw a header in there, making the buy a complete exhaust system.

that was quick, would that be the "multi purpose flange". I don't think it's welded to the header, I had some pictures of it, but i can't find them now. sigh, i suddenly feel this is going to be harder than i thought......................

Write them an email explaining exactly what you want, and they will tell you what you need.

If you want MOST inexpensive, I suggest you go to one of the Pic a Part yards and buy the entire stock exhaust system. Just about any 2nd Gen set up should work. You'll probably walk out with it for under $50 and have parts you may need later.

All you need is a set of sockets, a can of rust knocker and a pipe to put on the rachet for those stubborn nuts, and a long screw driver to pry off the various rubber donut hangers. Or, perhaps you can get one of your guy friends to do the heavy work for you. :-)

now for a real reply... your car came with a straight pipe welded to the stock exhaust, and now you want a aftermarket one with a regular cat? I think that is what you are getting at. Well just toss that whole system and pick up the RB system. Or high flow cat and cat-back. The full header back exhaust will look much better. If you want to stay with the sleeper look go with the RB if you want it aggressive go with apexi or hks and so on

Except if she's in California, she'll need the stock exhaust every 2 years to pass smog. The way she describes what on her car now, it would be a total hassle taking that one off and putting back on in the same circumstance.

Otherwise, I totally agree that if you can afford, go with the RB system. In my book, their products are the best.

damn utah? I live in South Carolina, so emissions isn't a problem here because these rednecks don't give a damn about anything except the confederate flag... anyway, yes, i was lookin at the rb system, i really like how it looks, but i dont really want to add a cat, that was my problem, how to hook it up without the cats. I think i will just have Bob the Muffler Man take a look at it. Hey Live4Boost, if your ever on the East Coast....

Yeah I think that the RB exhaust includes a pipe instead of the cat, so then you don't have to buy a cat. Thats how it is for the turbo's but Im not sure about the NA's. It will look nice, give you large HP gains, and umm well buy it if you can. I kinda wish I would have went with it. east coast....umm.....some day. I'll take a road trip. I saw the pic of your car that you posted. I like.
