If It's Racing Beat's then you will have to extend the wire of the O2 Sensor. It will not reach. So I had mine shrinked wrapped to accomadate the length.

1. Turn off caps lock

2. Is there a bung on the header to scew in the sensor? If so, then install the sensor and extend the wiring harness to reach.

3. If there is no bung, drill a hole and weld one in. The ECU needs the O2 sensor to function properly.

IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR HEADER FROM RACING BEAT IT WOULD HAVE COME WITH THE EXTENSION WIRE FOR THE O2 SENSOR, MINE DID ALONG WITH THE ACV BLOCK OFF PLATE. BUT IF NOT YOU CAN ALWAYS TAKE IT TO A MUFFLER SHOP AND HAVE THEM WELD A BUNG ON FOR YOU AND INSTALL IT, UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO WELD YOURSELF.

He's from Alabama.. Cut him some slack

Oooh, Felix is gonna KILL me

Just kidding

No, really, just kidding..

When I bought my RB header, it came with the ACV blockoff plate, and the extension wire for the O2 sensor.

Find a buddy who knows how to do wiring, they can help you extend the wire for you.

Ahem...Sorry to bring this thread back from its grave, but I was wondering where I can find an extension wire to purchase separately. I recently got just the RB headers from my friend without any other hardware. Anybody know where I can get the extension wire just by itself?

Another question - Do i need the ACV blockoff plate? and what benefit would blocking off the ACV do?

Sorry for raising the dead and thanks for helping if you do

if u have a Cat, blocking off the ACV and removing the air-pump will kill it...

it cleans up the engine bay =D

the other thing is, if u are talking about the O2 sensor wire, cut it, and go to radio shack to buy some wires, and make it longer....
