I got a good port template but i never done a portjob before.
Anyone got some "this is correct, this is wrong" pictures?

I don't have any pics, but... you have to watch out for the water jacket.. you also have to make sure not to get overly ambitious and grind too far in either direction. But, I'll know more when I do it this coming month.

Aside from that, it's straightforward if you are just doing your first job. Follow the template and make sure to protect the area around the port with thick duct tape to avoid accidents. Don't move the port inwards at all under any circumstances. The runners should be smoothed slightly but still need texture. Do not enlarge the runners.

That looks like an early 13B/12A casting, so there is a little less area to work with (hence the long tapered section). With most street port templates on 2nd gen irons, the taper won't have to be that extreme.
okey, ill take it slowly so i dont **** it up. I have the equipment to measure the thickness of material so i can be sure the wall is thick enaugh. I washed the parts today so im gonna start porting tomorrow. Ill take so pictures so you guys can look at it when im finnished.
