What To Do Dilemma

I picked up a 1990 RX7 Turbo II with a trashed motor. I plan to use the Fuel Inj & turbo to upgrade my sand rail.

My dilemma is what to do with the rest of the car. It has a clear titleand is 100% complete. No body dammage, except for a few spots where the paint has pealed off. Interior is great.

Should I try to sell the complete body together? Or part out the car?

I hate to part out a complete car, but I'm looking for how to get the best money from it. I'm not sure what it's worth to part out. You don't see much for sale on eBay or craigslist.

If you have an opinion, or need parts let me know.

Thanks

Ouch.. Those 90s are much more valuable as an entire roller. But, its your car and your choice.

always try to sell it complete first . if you part it , you will always be lieft with junk parts lying around that will take you forever to sell .

also , you're doing a good deed to a fellow rx enthusiast by selling the car "complete" .

Parting out cars is a pain in the ***. In some cases you'll get more then you would had you sold it as a lump, but at the same time you probably invest 80+ hours stripping little nick-nack bullshit off of there for someone. Then you take it off and they jew you down 5 dollars so they feel like a big man.......err. Sorry, getting personal here lol

Personally seeing as its a 90 TII, sell it complete. But as mentioned its yours man, do with it as you please.

Good Luck with the Sale

Post pics and make a f.s. thread. Please put an asking price.

Another possiblity is that someone might want to use it for a V* swap, so you might also post it over on TorqueCentral. (just don't tell anyone over here as we all hate to see that happen)

That's crack head prices. It's worth a hell of a lot more than that.

Yeah.. its not like you were "protecting" an RX-7 enthusiast... And to somebody who is not at all interested in keeping the car or making it run again, its NOT worth much more. And since I'm local... Why not?

$100T2 = jerk.

**** off. Why should this guy get taken advantage of? I'd stand up for any one of you guys the same way.

EDIT: Especially when you would probably turn around and part it out for 10x the money (at least).

Hell no.. I'd do what needs to be done... make it run and give it the TLC it deserves.

Well, I know I was joking, but damn! The point is, he can sell the car in the 2nd gen section. Parting it out would be criminal.

I may not be an RX7 enthusiast, but I am a "rotary enthhusiast". That is why I put a rotary in my sand rail

I want to take enough parts from the car to convert my rail to a 13B Turbo. I felt that the car when I was done would be too good of a shell to think about parting out.
DAMM if I didn't need the parts I would almost be willing to fix the car. They are "BAD" but I dont need more projects, and I don't have enough money to turbo my rail any other way.

I started this thread to see if I was correct on how good this shell is, and to get a feeling of how bad I should feel if I did decide to part it out. I don't want to be greedy, but some of these parts must be worth some $ and getting hard to find. The money I make from the shell will be used to build a running 13B motor.

Thats why I said I have a dilemma.
