VA What is the difference between the original S5 OMP and current OEM S5 OMP?

The dealer says I need a new electric OMP for my 1989 RX-7 vert. They would charge me $2200 for a new one. So I felt it was worth my time to research finding a cheaper alternative. I'm now planning to buy a new one from mazmart for $750.

But when I look at the picture of a new one on mazmart or mazdatrix, the part looks TOTALLY different than the picture of a used one on ebay. Here are links to the pictures:

new one on mazmart==>http://mazmart.com/ItemDetail.aspx?id=441

used one on 915racing's store page on ebay==>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...4506.m20.l1116

The new one looks a lot bigger and beefier or is it just the angle of the 2 different pictures? If they are really different. What are the differences? Is the new OEM version from Mazda better built?

I know most of you guys on here block off the OMP and don't give a damn about replacing it! But I'm just a gal who wants to keep cruising in my convertible for a few more years. ;-)

Looks the same to me, different angles though and it's hard to see the second connector (I believe it's behind the visible one in the new unit picture)

Thanks. Now I see what you mean. The ebay picture is upside down relative to the mazmart picture. And the mazmart picture does not have the plastic omp lines connected to it.

Thanks!
