What Color Should I Paint My FC
Hi,
I was just wondering what color you guys think I should paint my FC any color is fine. I was going to go black but I think i'm getting cold feet. I've just been how hard black is to keep and keep it looking good. I love that look but is it really worth it.
Cheers
Chris

Black looks the best, in my opinion, but it has a lot of drawbacks. It takes a lot of work to keep looking nice, and it's HOT in the summer.
Of course, I like red. Blue is a good choice too.

Thats a very subjective question and one that will yield you lots of different answers...usually ones with what the owners colour Is on their cars.
If Silver floats your boat, than I'd suggest to get 1999 Mazda Miata Highlight Metallic Highlight Peral Silver. It's what I got and I'm quite happy with It.

Like Ryu, I painted my 87 Turbo II Brave Blue. This is a 91 rx7 color. My original colors was that sunburst red or something like that, it looks kind of orange/red. I hated that color so I painted it and it came out unbelieveable!! I had it painted with PPG paint, I will post pictures soon. Also added 91 spoiler, 91 front and rear bumpers, clear signals, 91 mirrors, the car looks clean!!

go for SILVER it looks so nice on a FC.(just look in the backround of the fight scene on 2fast 2furious when brian and rome are fighting at the crash dirby) I'm repainting mine red but im not sure what the originall red was for a 89 TII i think it was sunset red. Anybody know?

dori2 has an FC that is dark gray and has the body filled where the trim used to be. you should check that out - looks absolutley menacing!

Hey,
Yes I think black will look the best will be 3 coat Black with a couple of clear coats. Should look very black. My car used to midnight blue but I think that would look stupid with the shogun body kit. Yellow would also be awsome but its just to brigth and vibrant for me. So black it is.
Cheers

Why don't you go for metalic gray? Lexus Graphite Gray Pearl is a really nice color.
If you want darker shade of silver, try Toyota Quicksilver Metalic or Graphite silver from Infiniti.
Black is REALLY pain in the ***... After owning a black car, I promised to myself... never again!! It's too much pain in the *** to keep it looking good... If you want to make it look good all the time, weekly wax sessions of 4 hours are necessary... plus you have to touch it up every ******* day.
