What color for engine bay?

I'm looking for an engine bay color theme and after seeing lots of pics on here I really think the polished/chrome look has been over played not that it doesn't look sweet but I'm going for something else. What do you guys think of red, blue, or black. These are the colors I want to go with. My car is white also.

On a more serious note, polished, gunmetal and black, keep it colorless, the emissions tester like it like that. Red isnt bad on a red car. but there's a point where it becomes overdone, and most people cross that line.

Come on guys how bout some more realistic color themes but right now I'm leaning more towards black or blue. Oh and for the above comment about emissions testing, up here in Ohio they don't do any engine snooping just sniffer test and check for a cat or something that looks like a cat(Idiots mistakened my resonator as being my cat).
