My buddy has a "Exedy Hyper Single Clutch" in his turbo II we just built. Streetport 13BT with a BNR stage 3 and it holds it great. The pedal pressure feels stiffer than my stock clutch but is definitely a lot stronger. We called Exedy and they told us it should be able to hold up to about 350ft/lbs of torque out of a rotary.

I also have a stock Exedy replacement kit in my car.

Would definitely recommend a Exedy to anyone in the market for a new clutch.

ACT street. First I had it on an MX-3. Worked great, cheaper then oem, but better pedal feel and stronger. Bought the RX-7 with a worn clutch, so replaced it with an ACT street as well, great clutch kit

Excedy Hyper Puck twin disc clutch (unsprung and Extremely over kill lol)

Its kind of hard to start off from a stop but it came with my engine and tranny from Japan. My tuner guy said that the clutch is the reason why my tranny is grinding in 3rd gear. I'm not going to bother replacing it though until one or the other goes out.

OE lasted 155K, so replaced it with the OE unit. Have been running 11 lbs with no problems, now at 40K miles.
