what to check

hey, I was out in the 87' GXL, and was on a sandy road, and it just rained so it was harder, and there were puddles everywhere, and I was practicing drifting, and hit a few ruts, holes, and ect. while going sideways, and took a few hard hits, so what should I check for suspension wise, becaue I now hear a rattle in the front end when I go over a bump. Oh, we were also on pavement and it was raining, adn I was sliding and such, and we got a lot of chatter in the rear end, so what do you think this did to my car? sorry for the run-on sentances, also. Thanks.

Keep it friendly. And by the way, if you are going to flame, at least use proper spelling, punctuation and capitalization. Otherwise, you just look stupid.

To the original poster, you will want to avoid all future off roading in your RX-7. The suspension was never designed for that punishment. You'll want to check for any bent suspension pieces, as well as the rubber bushings (check for looseness). Also, be sure to check the tie rods and ball joints, as those are what would cause a rattle or clunk. Same in the rear, though you don't have ball joints or tie rods. If you are getting rear clunking, your front diff mount may be broken. Try to lift up the front of the differential. If you can move it, then the mount is dead.

It's not like I was hauling *** or anything, I was going down the road at about 15-20mph, and for the most part it's smooth, and then around the corners just give it some gas, and it would g sideways, so next time know what you're talking about before you go off on someone.
