I beat a 97 thunderbird v8, 98 honda accord ,and yesterday a 96 camaro, i know this races are nothing compared to what i read but hey those are my first ones and won .

I beat a Ford Taurus Automatic once with my toyota pickup. I felt pretty badass.

 

I think he was too scared to go any faster. Remember that in racing...how heavy your ***** are count as well.

 

What size Ninja, do you remember?

 

Beat. two ricer crx who thought they were fast... Tied one for half a mile. Beat my best friends miata with jackson racing cai and exh.timing advance. Lost to friends integra ls with lots of boltons by a car length by the end of third when i was bone stock. Raced three times..same results.
Lost to a lexus v8 when stock to...

Mods...race pipe.catback.bonz filter. removed some emisions and sleeves. vdi wired closed.. e=fan and underpullys. No ps/ac/airpump.

 

I beat you off the line though. Each time.

a vanishing interior and a missing sunroof (it got sucked off the car one day and I haven't seen it since)

 

95 or so Celica GT(street Drags), Riced out Del Sol(E-Town), new Neon(E-Town), 90 240SX(streets,GSP), newer Accord(4 cyl.)(GSP), 1st Gen. Turbo Eclispe(his nose was the back of my door the whole time)(Street Drags), 99 or so Maxima(not 255hp one)(GSP), 92 Civic w/LS VTEC plus about everything else done to it(Street Drags), 1st Gen w/street port(Street Drags)....that's all for now....be a while before I even consider racing again......not worth killing myself just to top out at 132.....

Lost to my friends LS integra when I was bone stock. He had intake exasut msd and took me by one car in third. Then I got beat by some grand am. Dont know what it was really but it was a big car and made a woooosh sound when it excelerated. Im guessing he was in the high 14s by the way he was passing me. Not that fast. Got beat by some mustang on the freeway. Older early 90 late 80. Wasnt much of a race but I just new he was faster.

Thats it... THree for three. I won three I lost three.

I have 89GXL with intake exaust and exasut. No heads wired vdi and no 6port sleeves and most emisions gone...

 

I got spanked by a 12 sec Firebird TA WS6 Ramair. He just pulled and kept pulling. I lost to a 2001 Mustang GT from 60-100 by half a car length. I lost to a 300Z TT with intake 0-100 by a car and a half when I had a few less mods. I could beat him now, but he now has a built Stillen motor running somethine like 18 PSI on upgraded turbos...ouch.

Thats about it for my losses, I almost always race slow cars, but its not my fault civics and neons constantly feel the need to rev on me.

 

I bought my 1991 RX7 yesterday and put on the cone air filter today. I bought the car because I love the look and the condition it was in but everyone is expecting me to race my best friends 3000GT SL (intake,exaust) and judging from the kills and I am basically stock it sounds like Im going to get walked like the neighborhood dog. Oh well.

Quick question Im sure has been answered before but Im new: Whats the difference between the SE, GXL and I guess BASE because mine doesn't say anything. Chank you.

 

I will tell u the little that i know before someone else gives u a better ansewer... The se I think is the base. No power anything and is light.
The GXL wich i have has power everything sunroom cruise exc... U can have a sunroof and no GXL thou...

Where in cali do u live. I have an 89GXL in Sandiego. Mabey I can race him. I have a few more mods.

 

hey ... I just checked out the 3000gt. with intake and exaust hes probly runnin high 14s mabey. I will probly can hang him ... Get yourself an exaust and then remove your sleeves if thier not working. Make sure your vdi is working and give him a run for his money.

 

Hey Von we live in poway. His cars specs are: 222hp, 215tq 3440lbs. That is stock, with his mods he is probably at approx. 235hp. His car will run low 15s but he isn't the best driver. I will see if he wants to hook up, maybe this weekend? Good to meet somebody who has a second gen in the area b/c I have no clue on how to maintain the rotary and to be honest Im scared as all hell Im gonna blow a seal or something and dont have a whole lot of $$$. Hit me up.

 

Ok... Im in Spring Valley. Close to El Cajon Santee and La Mesa. Poway is pretty close. I think I should race him first. Im pretty confident I can win but I dont know exacly. I can show u a few tricks ive done to my car. I have lots more mods comin so if U can just tell the guy that I will race him mabey I can come down thier.

 

Tell him I have the same car just with intake and exaust. 230+ hp is alot but I have weight and rpms over him... Now U might know about racelegal in qualcolm stadium but if u dont thiers four lane races for the 1/8 mile going on this saturday I think.. The 9th. U should come. Im not racing my 7 yet. Hey.. In the meantime , make sure you check your oil and water. Keep an eye on your oil pressure and get used to were its supose to be.. Use GTX 10w-30.
