I used to use Castrol 20W-50 but switched to synthetic. Right now I'm using Mobil1 15W-50. I've also used Redline but switched to Mobil1 because it's cheaper. I think the car runs better and cooler with the synthetic. We'll see what it looks like when it needs to be rebuilt.

More or less, lol.

Seems to be one of the best non-synth motor oils around.

Also, its what quite a few of the know Rotary shops recommend.

valvoline racing 20w-50

i think i see only 1 other person using valvoline racing 20w-50... higgi.. personally i think it's the best.. tried most of the other brands.. except synthetic..

how come you guys dont use Valvoline Max life 10w-40?
thats what i use. should i switch? crap i just a case of it too.

i don't know... i thougth about using max life...

but the commerical specifically states, vavoline max life helps old engines feel new by reconditioning seals.

Fine i like that.

But then they said it reduces oil burn off

That is bad... rotaries inject oil during normal opertaion. So that means that the oil isn't burning away clean. That is bad.
