What brand of oil do you use in your FC?

Hey, I'm wondering what oil you guys use -- now I know that there was a thread about the weight of oil, but which type? I was thinking of going with the 10w-30 Mobil 1 for my n/a...

Mobil 1 is synthetic, my personal opinion is to stay away from synthetic for rotaries. Many will argue this, and many use it with good success, but thats just my opinion. I personally use Castrol GTX 20w-50.

Also, there have been many threads on this subject, you might want to read through them..

You can use Mobil 1 not a problem. I use Mobil 20-50 non-synthetic in the summer and 10-30 in the winter.

vavoline 10w30 is what i use but i'm thinking about going to the racing formula for better protection in my higher miler, vavoline is a liquid base oil not like castrol which is powder base and will cake up when it is extremely over heated dont get caught in the trend

WOOT go pennzoil

and for that exact reason, I can't find non-synthetic 20w50 ANYWHERE aside from pennzoil.

It's nice and cheap too.. if only I could get it in 4l instead of just 1l

on that note, is 15w40 thick enough? Because I can get rotella 15w40 in nice BIG containers that work out to being way less than pennzoil costs me.

And rotella is quality stuff...
