Best stuff i've used is the G2 Brake caliper 2 part paint. works incredibly good and comes in a couple different colors. find it on ebay...

I didn't use brake caliper paint because I wanted gloss black and the local shops only sold red and yellow. Red calipers only look good on a red car and yellow just looks frickin' awful. I used multiple coats each of engine enamel and clearcoat, which turned out to be cheaper anyway. It came out great and still looks that way many months later (when not covered in brake dust).

Yea I have 18'' BSA Alloys With 225 rubber. Sorry, but like with Porshe Carreras, GT2,3s, Cayans, ect. red calipers make any body color look very fresh, with the proper wheel though. You have to sit back and visualize what looks best for your application, race, show, sleeper, j-spec, poser, ect.
The more I mess with this 7, the more I love it.

I used engin enamel paint works perfect. I dont like the brush on kits. Whatever you do make sure you clear them or you will never get all the brake dust off of the paint.
As far as I know any automotive paint should work.

one thing that CAN be done for small parts like calipers and brackets is the at home powder coating kits.....they work AMAZING, and aren't really that expensive - but it all comes down to prep (as with any coating application) if its cleaned and sanded (or blasted) well then you will not have issues.
A good friend of my dad and I has used this on several pieces of his dragcar...
the only downfall is you need an oven that you don't cook with - the old lady may not take lightly to having powdercoated lasagna - lol
