What is the best oil to run a rotory?

I have heard that it isn't good to run a full synthetic oil because in the combustion stage it doesn't breakdown enough. Shed some light if you know what is true about this subject.

God, not another one. If you're using a synthetic, make it a GOOD quality one. Non-synth works fine too. Whatever you want, nobody cares anymore.

Summer - Castrol GTX 20W50
Winter - Castrol GTX 10W30

^ This is what I run in my car. Most people on these forums do as well.

If you want to run synthetic use Royal Purple.

This is a question with as many varied answers as there are members. Personally, I like Castrol 20w-50. I've heard Valvoline, Quaker State, Penzoil, etc. Even the members with countless years of rotary knowledge argue about this subject. Because of this "explosive" subject with all, I have taken it upon myself to e-mail 5 manufacturers of motor oil with "scientific" proof of their products superiority in ROTARY engines only. We will see how many respond, and will give results next week.

In the past 7 days, we have had about 10 different oil threads, and this topic comes up about 100 times a month. Please use the search function to locate threads with the query "oil recommendations", "what oil" and variations on that.
