Looks very similar to the grill off a 1963 Trabant. Two door coupe, not the convertible version.

In all my years of working on an RX-7, I don't ever recall seeing something that looked like that. Did you take it off of the car and just forget? Or is it possible the shop put it in there by mistake? Or maybe I've just never dug that deep into my car?

ha......

seriously though, I don't think it belongs on the car. I just took everything out of my engine bay and painted it, and i didn't come across anything resembling that.

and you call your selves RX-7 owners, it goes under your windsheild wipers! theres the long vent that goes accross the whole car and this little guy goes near the middle, but towards the passangerside. it goes underneith the long metal vent.
