oil cooler line

should be one on the front of the motor too.

front one feed's to top of the cooler
the one you pointed out feeds the side

yep oil cooler line, he probably couldn't get the damn bolt off so he cut the line.

no biggie, Ive never come across a J-spec that had the bolts undone.........its like finding one with the harness intact.........

Thx for the help, I figured it was just another sign of an unknowlegable wanna-be mechanic. I am just glad he "didn't have a tool large enough to get the engine apart..." LOL....

i think it is a 24mm.....I had a HARD time finding the right size and even worse time removing it......

******* a, its almost like they came from the factory pre-rounded, be very careful with that bolt, i would definaly order a new set of lines and bolts incase you have problems, and, its always nice to change things like that

This is why you get a dedicated 6-point socket for it, and try not to use a 12-point one.

I am with ted on that worth the $25 after you round it off you can use a curved jaw vice grip and a hammer to get it off and then throw it away.
